Hybrid Model Predictive Control of DC–DC Boost Converters With Constant Power Load

چکیده

This article presents a hybrid model predictive controller to ensure dc microgrid stability and enhance the performance of dc-dc boost converters interfaced with constant power loads (CPLs) in system. Hybrid systems are dynamic both continuous current mode discontinuous states. The main purpose this is develop an advanced control technique for voltage regulation stabilization presence CPLs due serious concerns, without considering accurate modelling information In regard, automatic model, different modes operation induced by semiconductor switches highly non-linear nature CPL employed design proposed approach. connected directly converter utilized define optimal tracking problem minimizing finite-prediction horizon cost function, which known as finite set MPC. controller, implemented modes, accounts output within predefined range. effectiveness verified using comparative evaluation discrete-time averaged control, MPC, conventional PI under experimental conditions. results authenticate improved performance, can be applied practical microgrids CPLs.
